Report Builder lets you build polished, client-ready reports from your live SnowSEO data — search performance, traffic, audits, AI visibility, and rankings — then export them to PDF. It’s a drag-and-drop canvas, so you arrange exactly what you want on each page.
Report Builder is in BETA. Find it in the sidebar under Tools → Report Builder.
Make sure the right brand is selected before you create or export a report. Live “data” widgets pull from your connected integrations — Google Search Console, Analytics, audits, tracked prompts — so connect those first for the richest reports.

The Reports List

When you open Tools → Report Builder, you land on your list of saved reports.
  • Search — Filter reports by name with the Search reports… box.
  • New report — Opens the template picker to start a new report.
  • Reports table — Each row shows the report Name (click it to open the editor), when it was created, and an Updated … ago timestamp. Row actions: Rename, Delete, and Export PDF (export without opening the editor).
  • Bulk delete — Select multiple reports with the checkboxes, then Delete them together.
If you haven’t built anything yet, you’ll see a “No reports yet” empty state with a button to create your first report.

Creating a Report

Click New report to open the Choose a template picker:
  • Blank report — Start from an empty page and build the layout yourself.
  • Prebuilt templates — Ready-made layouts (managed by your SnowSEO admins). Pick one to start from a structured report you can customize.
Selecting any option creates the report and drops you straight into the editor.

The Editor

The editor is a freeform, drag-and-drop canvas built on print-ready pages. It has three areas: a left sidebar, the canvas in the middle, and a properties panel on the right (toggle the side panels with [ and ]).
Add, rename, duplicate, reorder, and remove pages. Each page is a printable canvas in your report.

Canvas

Select, move, and resize widgets directly on the page. The toolbar across the top includes the report title, page count, undo/redo, zoom, page orientation, a Date range picker (shown when your report has data widgets), and Export PDF. Handy shortcuts: ⌘C / ⌘V to copy-paste, ⌘D to duplicate, arrow keys to nudge, and Delete to remove the selection.
Your report autosaves as you work — there’s no Save button. If you navigate away while a save is still in flight, SnowSEO warns you so you don’t lose changes.

Exporting to PDF

Export a report two ways: the Export PDF button in the editor toolbar, or the Export PDF row action on the Reports list (no need to open the editor first). SnowSEO renders each page and downloads a PDF named after your report.
On non-Scale plans, exported PDFs include a small SnowSEO watermark. Upgrading to the Scale plan removes the watermark and lets you edit the report’s branding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Any team member (member role and up) can build and export reports. Managing the shared library of prebuilt templates is an admin-only task, done from the admin panel.
Live data widgets pull from your connected integrations. If a widget is blank, the data behind it isn’t available yet — for example, Search Console or Analytics isn’t connected, no Website Audit has run, or you have no tracked prompts. Connect the relevant integration (or run an audit) and refresh the report.
The watermark is removed on the Scale plan, which also unlocks editing the report’s branding. On other plans, exports carry a small SnowSEO watermark.
