# Brands Overview

> Monitor and compare all your brands at a glance from the multi-brand Overview dashboard.

When managing multiple websites or client sites, the **Overview** dashboard acts as your central command center. It aggregates high-level performance metrics, historical trends, and active resource counts across all the brands (teams) in your organization, eliminating the need to switch between individual projects one by one.

***

## Unlocking the Overview

The multi-brand **Overview** is designed specifically for teams managing portfolios of websites.

* **Single Brand Setup**: If you only have one brand configured under your organization, the **Overview** option is hidden from the sidebar navigation entirely. Attempting to access `/dashboard/overview` directly will automatically redirect you to your brand's **Home** page.
* **Multiple Brands Setup**: Once you configure **two or more brands**, the **Overview** tab becomes visible in the sidebar, automatically activating the brand cards, sparklines, and comparison charts.

<Tip>
  Need to add another website? You can add a new brand at any time by clicking your brand name at the top of the sidebar and selecting **Create a brand**, or by going to **Settings → Organization Settings → All Brands** and clicking **Invite** or **Create a brand**.

## Layout Modes

The Overview supports two visualization modes to match your workflow. You can toggle between them using the buttons next to the page header:

1. **List View (Default)**: A dense, scannable table view highlighting all metrics and resource badges in clean rows. This is recommended when managing a large number of brands (e.g., agencies).
2. **Grid View**: A card-based layout where each brand is represented by a separate card, giving sparkline charts more visual breathing room.

Your layout preference is automatically saved locally, so it will remain selected whenever you return to the dashboard.

## Brand Cards & Rows

Each brand card or row is divided into three key sections:

### 1. Brand Profile

Displays the brand's logo or favicon, the display name, and a direct clickable link to the primary website domain.

### 2. Resource Badges

A row of color-coded badges showing the count of active resources configured for that brand:

* **Keywords**: Total target search terms tracked in daily ranking reports.
* **Prompts**: Total AI search engine prompt queries monitored.
* **Clusters**: Number of strategic content topic clusters created.
* **Articles**: Total articles planned, drafted, or published in the content planner.

<Tip>
  Each badge is clickable! Clicking a resource badge (e.g., **Articles**) will instantly set that brand as active and navigate you directly to that resource page (e.g., the Content list).
</Tip>

### 3. Metric Sparklines & Latest Scores

Tracks the latest performance scores along with a mini line chart (sparkline) representing the last 10 snapshots:

* **AI Vis (AI Visibility)**: Your brand's share of voice and citation presence across tracked AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity). Clicking it opens the brand's **AI Visibility** dashboard.
* **Audit (SEO/GEO Audit)**: The overall technical SEO/GEO health score out of 100. Clicking it opens the brand's **Website Audit** report.
* **SoV (Share of Voice)**: Your brand's voice share percentage compared to tracked competitors. Clicking it opens the **Competitors** comparison section.
* **Cites (Citations)**: Total number of citations referencing your brand in AI assistant responses. Clicking it opens the **Citations** evidence table.

## Brand Comparison Chart

At the bottom of the Overview page is the **Brand Comparison** chart. This section automatically visualizes and compares all your brands side-by-side:

* **Horizontal Bar Chart**: Automatically ranks your brands in descending order, showing the best-performing brand at the top.
* **Color-Coded**: Each brand is represented by its unique brand color (auto-extracted from its logo or favicon).
* **Metric Selector**: Use the tab buttons above the chart to toggle comparison between:
  * **AI Visibility**: Compare the generative engine optimization (GEO) strengths of all brands.
  * **Audit Score**: Compare the technical SEO health ratings of all domains.

<Note>
  If a newly created brand has not run its first website audit or AI visibility checks, its score will display as `—` (dash) and will not show up in the comparison chart until the first scan completes.
