# Ask Snowy Settings

> Read a brand's Ask Snowy agent settings.

Get the [Ask Snowy](https://snowseo.com/docs/user-guide/tools/ask-snowy.md) settings for one brand: the custom instructions added to every chat, the answer length (`responseStyle`), the reply language, and which capabilities are switched on (`writeActions`, `knowledgeBase`, `brandMemory`, `autoMemory`).

`canManage` is `true` when the caller can change these settings (brand admin or owner). It is `false` for callers without a user, such as API keys.

To change them, see [Update Ask Snowy Settings](https://snowseo.com/docs/api-reference/endpoints/snowy-settings-update.md).
