# Check for replies now

> Read a mailbox immediately for new replies.

Reads the mailbox immediately instead of waiting for the next scheduled check. Runs in the background - poll the mailbox's `syncStatus` from `GET /v3/outreach/sending-accounts` until it is `idle`. Check `imapLastError` for a read failure. Only available for mailboxes connected with reading settings.
