# Verify IndexNow

> Verify the brand's IndexNow key file on the verified domain.

Verifies the brand's IndexNow setup by fetching the key file hosted on the verified domain and confirming its contents match the stored key. On success the integration is marked active and the route returns `{ "success": true }`; a failed check returns `400` with a `message` explaining the mismatch (for example, the key file was not found or its contents differ from the expected key). Call this once after connecting, before submitting URLs.
